In June, I made my way to Kawartha Lakes to celebrate my Dad’s 70th birthday and decided to explore the town while picking up some groceries, camera in hand. I admired the old theatre marquee that has always been a part of this community; even after the theatre’s demolition, they preserved the marquee and relocated it near the locks.

While wandering, I spotted a sandwich board on the sidewalk, reminding me of a shop opening I had heard about over a year ago, and I was thrilled I decided to check it out. Cody from EastEnd Electric Records welcomed me to capture some shots of his store, designed specifically to be what he referred to as Instagrammable. As a bonus, I ended up purchasing Billy Idol’s Rebel Yell in mint condition for just 25 dollars, pre-owned.
